We’ve started this blog to introduce you to Kaiser! Kaiser is our 10-week-old mini schnauzer puppy. He has been in our home for almost two weeks now. Over these past two weeks we’ve had so much fun getting to know his personality and introducing him to new experiences. Not only is Kaiser growing and becoming more confident every day, but he is teaching us each day about puppy life. Sometime we wonder, are we training him or is he training us?
My husband and I have both grown up with a pet dog in the family but we were children at the time our family pets were puppies, so this is the first time we’ve gone through the puppy training process by ourselves. We look forward to sharing our puppy stories on this blog!

Good Luck on being a puppy-parent! It will take a lot of work and dedication (which looks like qualities you two have)! I have a 7-year old Yorkshire Terrior who is a handful but is my pride and joy. Look forward to tracing the steps as Kaiser grows each week!

From a psychological perspective, it appears you have an exceptionally intelligent and individuated youngster who is not afraid to question his peers; who is not prone to “follow the crowd”; but rather has some outstanding leadership qualities. He is not afraid to think for himself. He takes instructions extremely well, but will not do something, if it does nothave meaning or make sense to him. He is sociable, plays well with others; knows how to please his parents, but does not have tantrums, or even test the limits. Congratulations! You two earn an A+ for having evolved into great parents!….When can I babysit?!I will do so for free! He is adorable! (but how can he not be with such great looking parents?!)
