  1. Hi Kaiser,

We LOVED this post – so much interesting information. We’ve never heard of doggies having surgical procedures to stop them barking before – that seems a little extreme to us. But we’d sure love to meet a Basenji and have a croon with them!! We think we ‘sing’ rather well ourselves, although our humans disagree!

Do you bark Kaiser? Max barks sometimes, JD hardly at all, only when he’s playing and is really excited or when something has really spooked him. As a result the humans ignore Max but get really alarmed when JD is barking, he he he!

Schnauzer snuggles – JD and Max.

I have a 2y/o mini schnauzer who has never been breed before. I raised him from a pup. 3 months ago I adopted a 4y/o female schnauzer. She gave birth to 1 litter a year ago. She is in heat and the male is trying to mount her. He is having difficulty aligning himself to penetrate her. She is slightly larger than him in size…no much. I feel that he can reach her for penetration but not for sure. What should I do?
