We took our Miniature Schnauzer to Coronado Dog Beach last week. It’s a really nice beach that is friendly, clean, and beautiful. Located right next to downtown San Diego, the beach offers amenities for dogs like a hose-off center near the parking lot and plenty of stations to get a plastic bag to pick up after your dog.

This was Kaiser’s second time to a beach and he was definitely more courageous when it came to water this time around. He would run into the shallow water along the shoreline and chase us as we ran along. Our Mini Schnauzer had fun playing with the other dogs. All the dogs on this beach were really well behaved. Sometimes other beaches or parks, especially when crowded, will have a dog or two that is not great with a pack. We’re glad Kaiser enjoys the water and we hope that translates into easier bath time because he still wants to jump out of the tub.
